Fred Levinton
Fred is the founder and president of Nova
Photonics, Inc. He is a fellow of the
American Physical Society, and recipient of
their Award for Excellence in Plasma Physics
(1997). He invented the motional Stark effect
diagnostic in 1989, and is an author of over
100 refereed publications. He received his
Ph.D. in physics from Columbia University in
1983.
Ricardo Maqueda
Ricky is a principal research physicist at
Nova Photonics. He received his Ph.D. in
Nuclear Engineering from the University of
Washington in 1993.
Jill (Elizabeth) Foley
Jill is a research physicist with Nova
Photonics. She received her Ph.D. from
Princeton University's Program in Plasma
Physics in 2005.
Howard Yuh
Howard is a research physicist with Nova
Photonics. He received his Ph.D. in Nuclear
Engineering from MIT in 2005.
Darrell DiCicco
Darrell specializes in electronics and
software systems at Nova Photonics. He holds
a degree in physics from Drexel University.
Enrique Merino
Enrique is a technician at Nova Photonics. He
holds undergraduate degrees in physics and
computer science.
Karl McMurtry
Karl is a technician at Nova Photonics. He
earned undergraduate degrees in physics and
mathematics at Occidental College.
David Card
Dave is a mechanical designer and machinist
at Nova Photonics.
